PLACE AND PEOPLE

PLACE AND
PEOPLE

Honey Clinic is not only a unique Apitherapy Center in the world. First of all, it is the wonderful history of the town of Kamianna and the people who created this place. It’s worth getting to know her to better understand why Kamianna is so special. Kamianna is a town that was once inhabited by the Lemko nation. This is an Eastern Slavic ethnic group characterized by a unique attachment to ecology and beekeeping. After all, which is not known information to many, our ancestors – the Polanie, were famous for beekeeping. Yes, this was the main profession of our forefathers, which to this day is a key economic sector of today’s Kamianna.
Ks. Henryk Ostach 30 lat temu położył kamień węgielny, na którym to dziś osadzona jest ówczesna Miodowa Klinika.

When talking about Kamianna, it is impossible not to mention two people thanks to whom the history of the town comes full circle again and is gaining international fame. This is primarily Renata Stelmach, the founder of the Miodowa Klinika and her leading mentor, an eminent scientist – Prof. zw, Ph.D. n.farm. Artur Stojko.

However, the Miodowa Klinika team is not only made up of its founders. There are a number of people behind the creation of this place who made a valuable contribution to its existence. They contributed not only to the creation of our center, but also to restoring Kamianna’s former glory. We would also like to thank the local community and our friends: beekeepers, beekeepers, representatives of local governments, scientific staff, employees of the Honey Museum and many other people.

prof. dr hab.n.med. Andrzej Frydrychowski

Another excellent mentor at Miodowa Klinika is Professor Andrzej Frydrychowski. Thanks to the cooperation with the professor, the flagship program of the Miodowa Klinika was created, i.e. the body renewal/regeneration program “Comprehensive renewal”.

As he says: “You must always look for the cause of a given disease, then remove it and restore the body to the proper balance.”

Medical doctor Janusz Kołodziejczyk

Medical doctor Janusz Kołodziejczyk prepared the Miodowa Klinika team to conduct therapy in the field of clavitherapy, auriculotherapy and craniotherapy and is our mentor in this field.

Janusz Kołodziejczyk graduated from the Military Medical Academy in Łódź. He is a doctor who has been cooperating with the creator of clavitherapy, Ferdynand Barbasiewicz, for many years and developing it independently. He was a student and collaborator of the late Prof. Zbigniew Garnuszewski – organizer of acupuncture in post-war Poland.

He is a family medicine specialist, gynecologist and obstetrician. He considers himself a naturalist who deals professionally with one species – humans. He is a co-organizer of the Polish trend of integrative medicine, combining “academic” knowledge with “natural medicine”. He runs the Polish School of Reflexology, where he teaches Polish clavitherapy, the most effective form of acupuncture.

Dr. Janusz Kołodziejczyk’s medicine is holistic – comprehensive, and the basis of the workshop is psychosomatics – the belief in the inseparability of the spirit and body, which is why the doctor is often called the “Human Doctor”.
